Open Rehearsal – January 2018

Every term the players of Dunedin Wind Band get together for a whole day of music making at Craigmillar Park Church. Craigmillar Park Church has become our second home over the years – great facilities, lots of space, free on-street parking and well served by many buses. With the help of some fantastic tutors we learn some new pieces and of course we must mention the famous pot luck lunch.
Our open rehearsal is just that – open all including non-members and guests – so why not come along and have a go at playing some music and meet the band. All are welcome and there is no minimum standard for players. Whether you have a forgotten flute in a cupboard you haven’t touched since you were 12 or you’ve just taken up saxophone classes, we’d love to hear from you! Dunedin Wind Band is a community band open to all, and we’re always keen to welcome new members.
